ARTIST STATEMENT

Part of what it means to be human is to be fascinated with the world in which we live. 

From engulfing storms to the tiniest petals, nature is a mass of contradictions, beautifully balanced chaos, and constantly transforming. 

To realize that nature is what we belong to, is to understand we are also as dynamic as it is; impermanent and evolving, in perpetual transformation. 

As an artist, this witness of nature as metamorphosing energy shifts is the vehicle through which I create, where organic abstract forms explore my own experience of memory, narrative and transformation.
