BIOGRAPHY

Phoenix based painter, Hannah Thomas, was born in New Zealand and raised in England. 

After immigrating to Arizona, Hannah developed a love of botanicals and weather patterns, and has found deep connection to the unique skies and landscapes of her adopted Southwest home. 

Her work uses a visual language between abstraction and figuration to explore ideas of impermanence, entropy, and transformation inherent in systems of nature, and the relevance of those systems to human experience.

Hannah is currently pursuing degrees in art history and fine art at Arizona State University.
